Come molti, non ho gridato al miracolo all’uscita di “Nostradamus” che trovo già debole come idea per un “concept” e fuori luogo come formula per i Priest, poco a loro agio con intro forzate e strizzatine d’occhio più che ai Manowar credo alle atmosfere di Blind Guardian e similari. Non me la sento però di stroncare il tutto, lo feci a suo tempo con “Turbo”sbagliando clamorosamente, perché tolta la patina Hair alla band e disinibendomi da attitudini più thrash è un album che ho apprezzato moltissimo. Vabbè….Mandolè, però mò che vai trovando?! Niente… credo che “Alone” estrapolato dal contesto possa definirsi un classico, per testi ( ok ,superata la quarantina siamo tutti meno agguerriti, ma non venitemi a dire che queste lyrics non toccano corde mai dome della vostra anima!) che per la musica ( ... sappiamo sempre di chi stiamo parlando!) Ho trovato un video amatoriale con forte matrice new age, che magari non vi dirà niente, ma nell’insieme a me è piaciuto… Lo condivido con voi...
